Located 20 km from Cat Ba town center and a few minutes of driving from Gia Luan harbor, Hoa Cuong Cave is one of the most beautiful and famous caves on Cat Ba Island. The cave name means Diamond Cave in English as it is famous for many natural stalactites and stalagmites sparkling like diamond that grabs visitors’ attention.
Hoa Cuong Cave nestles deep in a forest-covered mountain that is around 100 meters long and 10 – 25 meters tall. Entering the cave entrance, you encounter a spacious calm space with cool air, making visitors feel very comfortable. On the right of the cave is a huge stalactite like a curtain. Above the cave door, there are many iridescent stalactites with different shapes as human and animal statues. Hoa Cuong Cave still retains its pristine appearance that needs to be protected to become an attractive tourist attraction on Cat Ba Island.
